I'm back from france..

Gritty, rough hands have let go of the throat of my soul.

And though, my neck has streaks of dirt from the tigers paws,

out of my throat comes again the song of forever.

The voluptuous spring that spews

nectar of blessing has broken

through the caves of temptation....

And though, in this life,

I'll never be free of my human frame.

I am free from a human frame of mind.

Dear One,

So many good things are happening here that it is hard to keep track. My job here is to distribute bibles to people traveling to North Africa. There are three different ports.

T-4: A pedestrian gate (a gate which people walk onto the boat)

T-3: Another pedestrian gate

Car gate: A gate which people drive their cars onto the boats

Today I worked the car gate in the morning. Cars were lined up constantly. My leader came over and told us to not be discouraged that we werent geting many out but I didn't even notice. I was so happy and overwelmed with joy. I am a part of the largest source of bible in north africa. I am a part of that. It's incredible to pass from one hand to another, ancient words, words of life, words of revolution, words that cause transformation.

Many people wag their fingers in my face, 'Muslim! Muslim!'

Amongst the hussle and bussle, amongst the angsty security guards and passerbys, there are those who not only receive, but receive with joy. "C'levangile!" Their eyes light up, the corners of the mouths part and meet the corners of their eyelids, and quietly say, 'merse.' (thank you)

As I go on approaching other cars, each time I make eye contact with them again, they smile so much they wrinkle their whole faces, and again say 'merse.'

so much more to share...this is brief, and also un edited....

and i apologize, if you know french, for my bad spelling,

oh yeah, today is frances independence day...it was interesting to go to their parade.

had a hard time clapping for the military this time.

im going to see, apparently, the best fire works in the world soon.

lets hope there isnt a riot.

Blessings,

-Sarah
